More Inaugural Dress Submissions for Michelle O. From White House Black Market

These designs are nice too, but at this late date, I'm sure whatever Michelle O. is wearing to the official Inaugural Balls has already been picked out and is sure to be spectacular.

Talk about White House style! Months after Michelle Obama started a fashion craze by wearing a recession-friendly dress from her local White House/Black Market shop in Chicago, the store has turned its Washington D.C. store into an inaugural dress headquarters. White House/Black Market has transformed its Union Station store to include everything a future First Lady would need on the big day.

The store features four sketches of dresses -- all created by the designers at White House/Black Market -- that are inspired by Obama's style. These sketches (pictured) have gone out to Obama for consideration and have been signed with, "From Our White House to Yours..." The sketches were recently designed, and the four resulting one-of-a-kind gowns are now on display in the storefront, which will revert back to its normal look shortly after the inauguration festivities end.

White House/Black Market, partnering with actors Jane Kaczmarek and Bradley Whitford's Clothes Off Our Back Foundation, auctioned off each dress in the hopes they'll be worn during the political festivities. The proceeds of the auction -- bidding ended Thursday night -- went to the charity. This White House/Black Market will also house dozens of dresses and accessories perfect for inauguration parties and events. The displays will showcase Obama's ability to mix designer pieces with more affordable ones.
